"I am always partially hidden.

"The lens is the mythological eye from which I peer.

"The aboriginal symbols of nature offer themselves for contemplation. Enclosed in their forms are the manuscripts of archetypes. In these photographic representations of the archetypal realm women act as the bearers of symbols, and as the vessels of ancient secrets. I see mystical nature revealing itself in the many faces of the goddess. I gaze into the river and desire to fall towards the transparent muse. I am at the shore. Beyond me lies the desert, then the mountains, and the forest.

"These are photographs. I finish the images, adding or refining the special effects on Macintosh computers. Many of the images go through an organic mixed media process. The images are finished as limited production Giclee prints made with pigmented Ultrachrome inks on 100% cotton rag paper.
