your creative work requires unusual categorization, and we'll do our best to oblige.

Please query us in advance if you have concerns or questions about size, presentation, subject, or any other matter, and we'll do our best to
help you prepare your work(s) for submission.

StickYourNeckOut reserves the right at all times to
accept or reject for publication any and all submissions, with or without notifying you, as well as to add or
remove submitted materials from display on this website at our sole discretion.

We will not substantially edit text, crop photos and graphics, or otherwise knowingly alter the substance of your original work without your
permission.

But we may format your submission in minor ways—including
alterations to paragraph style, font, and spacing; display size, resolution, and color depth, and the like—to accommodate
webpage limitations, as well as to adhere to our site's visual style. And we reserve the right to perform minor, usual and customary
edits—pertaining to grammar, usage, punctuation, capitalization, spelling—on text so that it conforms to the style and
standards of this site.

In most cases, we do not mind if your work has been previously
published elsewhere. But please let us know if and where your submitted work has
previously appeared so that first publishers may be properly credited.

We will be grateful if works first published here are so credited if later published elsewhere.

We do not mind if your submission to this magazine is part of a
multiple submission. But we do request that contributors, publishers or other
interested parties notify us immediately if publication here violates any other agreement of
copyright or publication. At that time we will gladly remove the work in question from our site.

Please retain copies of your work. StickYourNeckOut will not be responsible for
originals, once submitted.

We regret that we are unable at this time to pay contributors for publishing their work on our site. We
do, however, offer our contributors the opportunity to display limited agent, biographical and contact
information next to their published work(s), as they see fit. (See also below: Important Notice!)

Please do not send large
files (more than 1 MB) or other supplementary material without giving us advance notice.

StickYourNeckOut will make every effort to notify contributors promptly regarding acceptance
of their submitted works. If you haven't heard from us in six weeks, feel free to e-mail us and give us a nudge.

Your submission of your work(s) by e-mail constitutes your grant to us of the one-time, non-exclusive right to publish and retain your submitted work(s) on the StickYourNeckOut website
indefinitely. You retain all other author's rights in your work(s).

We may briefly cite or excerpt from your work(s), textual or graphical, for the purpose of marketing the StickYourNeckOut website (e.g., in e-mail newsletters,
at affiliate websites, and the like). But we will not share, sell, or otherwise assist
republication of your whole work(s) in any other form or venue, for any reason, without your express consent.

Notwithstanding the above assignment of rights: We realize that unforeseen circumstances may arise—for example, the chance to
sell a work outright, or the opportunity to publish the same piece elsewhere—causing you to wish to terminate display of some or
all of your works here. Therefore, at your request, we will
happily and quickly remove your work(s) from display on our website, no questions asked. Please address your request to:

- To submit your work to StickYourNeckOut, simply copy/paste or type it into the body of an
e-mail (or attach the work in any of the common file formats: .doc, plain text/.txt, .rtf, .gif or .jpg/.jpeg), and send to this address:
- Submissions that do not contain a reasonable minimum of introductory information about the author/artist and the works submitted are
apt to be discarded without further consideration or reply to the sender. Therefore, please include as much of the following as possible
along with your submission:

- Your name and the e-mail address you wish us to use in corresponding with you; instructions regarding the use of a pseudonym, if
appropriate.

Biographical and contact information you would like to have placed next to your submitted work when published (250 words or less).
- Please give us explicit instructions as to what, if any, e-mail address, website URL or other contact information
you wish to have published alongside your submitted work(s). By default, only your name (or designated pseudonym) will appear in
connection with your published work(s).
- The title(s) of the work(s).
- Prose texts: A word count at the top of the text, along with name, title, etc. (More than 2500 words?
Please send a brief synopsis along with a query first.)
- Artworks: Please note original size and medium, and/or other defining particulars of the work's creation.
